Reader Letter, 10/5/05

Clearly, you people are idiots.  My daughter and I have at least two things in common; we believe we are redeemed through the blood of Jesus' sacrifice and we both get symptomatic relief from psychotropic meds (for our ADHD).

God warns us that people will use His word (Bible) to suit their agendas.  We'll pray for you.

Our response:

I would question why you and your daughter are taking dangerous and ineffective psychotropic meds for a condition that has never been proven to medically exist. See http://www.adhdfraud.org/

and http://www.ahrp.org/infomail/05/09/13a.php.

Even the American Psychiatric Association’s own President, Steve Sharfstein, admits there is no lab test that exists today to measure a chemical imbalance in the brain.

Would you undergo chemotherapy if your doctor told you that you had cancer, but didn't show you proof in the form of a lab test? I hope not.
