Reader Letter 8/31/06 Good afternoon my Dear Dear Friends
As two, like myself, whom the Lord Jesus "has" brought out of the pagan darkness of psychology, I felt you would delight in my sharing with you the following Powerful Truth which the Holy Spirit revealed to me just this morning.
Jesus knows how to bait my spiritual appetite when He says: “He who has ears to hear, let him hear”. While reading Matthew 11 this morning, He did this to me again with verse 15 concerning His meaning of verses 12-14. The phrase in verse 12: “until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” is very significant unto this very day. Not that God’s Sacrifice wasn’t completed, but in that the spirit of Eli’s sons is still there in our Churches today trying to nullify its meaning and effectiveness by not preaching the whole work of His Cross. 1 Sam. 2:17 Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD. Jesus and His “whole” work on His Cross is today that “whole” offering.
When Our Lord was on His cross, “The Burnt Offering” God provided for Himself, an “offering made by fire” and a “sweet savour unto the Lord”, His was a “completed” sacrifice. No sons of Levi (belial) were able to “take by force” any part of this offering for their own sinful pleasures as many preachers do today by not leading the way and warning Christians by preaching the “Whole Cross”, God’s “Burnt Offering”, so that Christians may live Holy or Sanctified lives unto Him. The significance of our Lord Jesus as “The Burnt Offering” was for our eternal salvation, AND, for our “total purification” which was carried out (completed) by His putting to death our old man of sin that we should not henceforth serve sin. Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is (was) crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve (be enslaved to “any”) sin. “Henceforth”, the last time I looked, means to “immediately stop what you are doing and do this; from now on”. This is the piece of the meat of His Sacrifice that most Pastors remove so that their congregations do not partake of it. Therefore, any sacrifice that such men attempt to offer God is not pleasing to Him but is a stink in His nostrils.
The Love of God was never intended to wash away this message of His Cross, which is the abundant Life, but rather; at any and all costs, it is to be preached. Let the sons of Levi sit in the pews and sneer if they will. God will one day wipe that smirk from off their faces.
